Privacy Policy

Wusee respects your privacy. This policy explains what information Wusee may process, how it is stored, and how you can manage your data.

1. Information We Process

Information you enter in Wusee may include item names, categories, tags, prices, quantities, purchase dates, expiry dates, warranty dates, status, places, containers, wish lists, notes, attachments, and images. The app may also store preferences such as language, currency, theme, app icon, reminder thresholds, library configuration, and membership state.

2. Local First

The current version is primarily local. Unless you turn on iCloud sync, export a backup, import a file, share content, or use system sharing features, Wusee does not proactively upload your item content to our own servers.

3. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, related data is synchronized between your devices and your Apple iCloud account through Apple iCloud. Availability, encryption, retention, and deletion are governed by Apple terms, privacy policy, account status, and device settings.

4. System Permissions

Wusee may request notifications, Photos, Files, or other system permissions when a feature needs them. Notifications are used for expiry, warranty, stock, or custom reminders. Photos and Files are used for item images, attachments, backup import, and backup export. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

5. Family Sharing

If you enable family sharing or a shared space, invited members may view and maintain shared items, places, reminders, images, and notes. Only share information that is appropriate for those members and invite people you trust.

6. Backups and Exports

Exported backup files may contain preferences, library configuration, and item data. You are responsible for storing, transferring, and deleting exported files. If you send a backup to another person or store it in a third-party service, that file is affected by the recipient or service provider.

7. Diagnostics and Improvements

The current version does not proactively collect your item content for analytics. If crash diagnostics, anonymous analytics, or other improvement services are introduced later, we will try to avoid collecting identifiable item content and explain relevant changes in the app or system permission flow.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete items in the app, clear development data, turn off sync, or uninstall the app. Data already synced to iCloud, exported as backup files, shared with family members, or saved elsewhere may need to be deleted separately in those locations.

9. Children’s Privacy

Wusee is designed for everyday personal and family inventory management and is not directed specifically to children. If you record items for family members, avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.

10. Policy Updates

We may update this policy as features change. Updated content will be shown in the app or on the website. Continuing to use Wusee means you understand the updated privacy policy.
